Computer simulation of the stress-strain state of thin plates and cylindrical shells with a circular hole reinforced by an inclusion from functionally graded material

Computer simulation and FEM analysis of the stress-strain state thin plates thin-walled cylindrical shells, weakened by a circular hole in presence an annular inclusion functionally graded material (FGM) surrounding it, have been carried out. The influence dimensions FGM-inclusion law change its elastic modulus on concentration parameters shells vicinity is studied. distribution stress strain intensities zones local obtained. It has established that when using radially inhomogeneous with certain mechanical properties, it possible to reduce factor more than 35%. elasticity width significant effect not only plate shell, but also nature over their surfaces. results series large-scale computational experiments show use FGM makes intensity both stresses deformations around hole.
